Understanding Noridian Medicare

There are many different government authorized companies that offer different types of Medicare plans and supplemental insurance. Depending on the state you live in, you will need to make a few different decisions. These would include choosing the right Medicare provider and the right Medicare coverage. If you would like supplemental insurance, then you will need to choose that plan as well. Noridian is an insurance company that is authorized to provide Medicare coverage in the states associated with jurisdiction F. If you live in any of the following states, then you could have access to Noridian Medicare.

  • Montana
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Wyoming
  • Utah
  • Arizona
  • Idaho

If you live in one of these states, then you could have access to different coverages offered by Noridian Medicare. However, not all coverages are offered in each of these states, see the different Noridian fee schedules before you enroll into anything.

If you live in the top six states of that list, then you will have access to Medicare Part A. This plan helps to cover the cost of hospital stays, care after a hospital stay and other long term related medical cares. If you live in any of the seven states listed above, then you will have access to Noridian Part B. This coverage will take care of routine doctor visits, various outpatient services and laboratory blood tests.

Noridian Medicare also provides Medicare Part B in three other states temporarily. These three states are Washington, Oregon and Alaska. This is not a permanent coverage option, and the three states may be added to jurisdiction F and they may not, depending on future decisions.

In addition to providing the Medicare coverage through parts A and B, Noridian provides medical equipment to Medicare patients in 17 different states. Equipment through Medicare is available in the following states:

If you live in the states mentioned above, and you have Medicare benefits, then you would be able to qualify for medical equipment through Noridian Medicare.
There are different authorized Medicare providers in different parts of the country. It is important to know what providers are available in the state that you live in. Noridian Medicare is a provider in certain states in the northeastern section of the United States.
