As you may know, there are many different insurance companies that provide Medicare coverage. These companies are contracted by the government to offer the various plans or parts that come along with medical benefits through Medicare. Trailblazer is such an insurance company and if you are looking for Medicare coverage, then you will definitely want to learn more about Trailblazer Medicare, what it is, and what it can offer you.

Trailblazer Medicare actually offers numerous different services that could apply to you. It is important that you know what these services are.

Medicare Parts A and B
Trailblazer Medicare does offer both part A and part B. In case you are unsure what these two parts are, then here is a basic rundown of them.

  • Medicare Part A is designed to cover hospital stays and expenses that go along with the hospital stay. This would include recovery from a hospital stay, subsequent doctor visits that include follow ups for the hospital stay and any type of rehabilitation needed in the wake of the stay.
  • Part B is most likely more conventional compared to other health insurance companies that you would be used to. This part of Medicare benefits would include routine doctor visits, preventative care, immunizations and various needed exams.

Trailblazer Medicare offers the two parts of the coverage in certain states – see your respective fee schedule to really know how much it will cost you. If you live in the following states, then you will have access to the Medicare benefits through this company.

  • Colorado
  • Oklahoma
  • Texas

Reimbursements
In addition to offering these two parts, Trailblazer Medicare also offers various facility treatment needs. For example, if a patient needs care in a nursing facility, then this plan would help cover the cost. Other centers would include dialysis centers and testing facilities. As a part of the Trailblazer Medicare plan, reimbursements will be given for these different types of treatments.

End Stage Renal Disease
Another part of government authorized coverages would include treatments for end stage renal disease. If you are unclear on what this means, here is an explanation. End stage renal disease refers to someone who is in total kidney failure. In other words, their kidneys are no longer working and they need either a kidney transplant or a lifetime of dialysis.

  1. Tara says:

I think this is great but again it is something that only the seniors and disabled can benefit from. They keep coming out with these blogs and articles about Medicare and Medicaid and how it is so great and then they come out with article about companies that offer these insurances but none of them offer affordable healthcare for those that aren’t old or disabled. And that just really sticks in my craw.
